Located on Soi Prasert Manukitch 25, Bangkok, this project is surrounded by a mix of wasteland and residential areas. Opposite the site is a car body repair
and maintenance garage, with a cement plant and additional wasteland adjacent to the property. The land comprises two plots, one square and the other
trapezoidal, with the frontage facing west. Given Thailand’s tropical climate, the design posed challenges, particularly concerning the use of glass and
translucent materials.
The project owner requested approximately 4,000 square meters of usable space, including an office and reception lounge. The chosen materials are simple
and easy to maintain. The designer organized the building layout to meet the owner’s needs, dedicating the ground floor to parking and an MEP room.
The building is divided into two large blocks to create a landscaped central courtyard for added views. To enhance shading, the design emphasizes green
space. The west and east walls are solid concrete to block heat, while the north and south walls feature glass facades, allowing for expansive views without
heat concerns. The entrance walls are designed to frame the main approach, and a fitness room on the upper floor offers elevated city views.
