This project is an exhibition booth design for “Vinyl Floor Tiles,” showcased at Architect Expo 2018. The owner wanted a unique, art-inspired display to
appeal to the designer-heavy audience. The designer developed an innovative approach to presenting the products. The vinyl floor tiles were cut into various
triangular shapes, types, and sizes, and these pieces were arranged to create pathways and elevated surfaces. The flat areas served as walkways, while the
sloped sections allowed visitors to view and feel the textures of the tiles. The booth featured a circular circulation path, with a single entrance and exit.
Inside, visitors could pass beneath a partition to watch a video presentation in a black box.
The ceiling and backdrop were crafted from stretched black canvas, enhancing the enclosed space. The sides of the booth were made from semi transparent
white canvas, allowing light from inside to shine through. Gaps at the bottom of the canvas provided visibility into the booth, attracting attention from
outside and showcasing the products. The triangular gap at the entrance was designed to emphasize the booth’s entrance, creating an inviting gateway.
