This project is a factory building. Located at Rayong Province, Thailand. The building’s usable space is divided into two sections: an office and a factory. Before entering the building, the designer arranged a small tree court to create an atmosphere at the entrance and serve as the main view of the office area. The office is placed at the front with a reception and seminar room. Inside the office, the reception area is designed as a two-story open space to accept tree view that enhancing the working environment.

The tree court is designed with steel grid on top for hanging climbing plants and has an automatic spray watering system. When the water system work, the temperature in the upper part of the tree drops. Base from the ventilation system, cool air will be pulled in from the base of the tree and hot air will be expelled to the upper part, causing comfortable atmosphere around the employee’s rest area below the tree. This area can be connected to the pantry area in the office for more convenience to organize social activities.
