This project is a renovated classic house situated on 2 rai of land, elevated about 2 meters above the external public road and surrounded by a large garden.
The main entrance features a long ramp that leads from the public road to the parking area in the front yard. Initially, the owner requested the architect to
design a small building as an extension of the main house, creating an enclosed courtyard in front of the parking lot. This smaller building was intended for
visitors, with the first floor serving as a reception and recreation area connected to an outdoor terrace and swimming pool. It also includes a bedroom at the
back, while the second floor serves as a multipurpose room.
The architect designed the composition and selected materials for the small building to complement the style of the main house. Later, the owner decided to
renovate the main house for a more modern appearance while preserving its classic style, a personal favorite. The architect analyzed the main house,
simplifying architectural lines and elements to achieve a clean, monotone look. Stone tiles were chosen to cover the exterior for easy maintenance, with
dark grey stone at the base and new aluminum frames.
The materials of the small building were also adjusted to harmonize with the main house, achieving a modern-classic style that blends seamlessly with the
surrounding garden of mature trees, creating a tranquil, cohesive exterior.
